Nagato was invited over to Kyon’s house to play video games. Or will something more happen…? (Don’t worry. Everything that has happened so far pays off. Trust me. Sit tight for just a little longer!)
It’s a three-part story, so naturally, that means a triple release. Right? I’m trying to justify an unhealthy obsession here, help me out.
Heads up: I’m taking a complete break after Volume 7’s completion, I think, for up to a week. No moderation, no blog, no project work. I don’t want to burn out, so I believe that this will be the best course of action. Thanks for understanding.

Things be ramping up quickly in here. A nod to Nagato’s development from her movie version/first appearance, Kyon coming to grips with his feeling post-Original Nagato..

You know? I don’t really know.
From what I’ve seen on romantic comedic school/slice of life stories, they usually end in 2 ways:
1. They start dating. (I hate this type. So inconclusive.)
2. The hero/ine’s class graduates. (Rationally, I think it’s this one.)
Other (unlikely) possibilities:
– Tsuruya/Asahina graduate (they’re minor characters, so probably not)
– Unceremonious end
– They get married and more stuff happens. (I think this would be the coolest, but it’s highly improbable, as the Haruhiverse still needs to be developed.)
– By extension, Clannad ending (Dear God, I hope not. As much as I like Clannad, I only want to see it once.)
– And the most insane: this universe merges with the Haruhiverse in some freak interdimensional accident. (Wow, that sounds like a terrible fan fiction.)
Indeed. However, rumor has it that they start dating in Volume 8, and apparently the manga will continue until volume 11 or 12 if ANN is to be trusted, so I think we can be hopeful that such an inconclusive end as end 1. will not happen.
You’re right, with that, the ending seems uncertain. Perhaps just ends with them in college together, or married.
Hmhm, marriage ending sounds very appealing.
