Hi, Thanks for the releases. What do you use to open the files, I use winrar, the files are there and cannot be opened. I tried 7z, 7zip and it’s the same. This release chapter 59 contains no files.

    Thanks!!

I just test downloaded it, and it’s working fine for me. Going by the comments, I think it’s working well for others too. I use p7zip as my backend for file-roller on Linux. Command line syntax is 7z e -oTargetDirectoryName Archive.7z, if you prefer. If you’re on Windows, there’s just 7zip, I think.

      1. Maybe download it again. It should be about 11.3 MiB big, so see if your file browser says that. If says something much smaller, your download probably messed up.
      2. If it’s not that, how are you opening the archive? I can’t honestly remember which program to use, but it’s 7zip or 7zFM or something like that.

Thanks for the response. I figured it out anyways. The version I had installed was an older version. I downloaded the latest and it worked fine. Thanks again for the help and response.

Just wanted to drop in and say thanks for the scanlations! Love the series, love your work, keep it up!

    …donate button…?

    • Calculuswhiz

Well, that’s not for me to make, as I’m not the top admin on the site. However, I personally will not be taking donations, as that would feel too much like I’m doing this for profit, which I really can’t do in good conscience (plus I think it may be unlawful). I’m not in this for any monetary gain and never will be, as this is a hobby, not a job. I do sincerely thank you for your interest, though. I’m glad to see other people with a common interest.

If you would like to help someone out financially, however, maybe talk to Kanapox on Animexis Scans. They haven’t really been active lately, but they do have a maintenance cost, and without them, this project wouldn’t be possible.

I can understand where you’re coming from but it’s also true that mere existence costs money. Website hosting, buying and shipping the raws, etc. At the very least, an internet public service like scanlation shouldn’t COST you money.

      • Calculuswhiz

All this project is costing me is my time, really. All the software that I use is literally free (Arch Linux, Sublime Text, GIMP, etc…). I even developed my own code to help with the cleaning process. I guess there’s the utility bill, but everyone pays for that. Oh, I also swiped the raws from some third-party site. Heck, if someone can get me a couple of copies of Japanese V9 when it comes out, I’d gladly pay him/her for it.

Well, like most things worth doing, this project requires me to sacrifice time, which I’m willing to do without any need for material gain. I know money’s important, but, in my opinion, reality is so much more than the material. I’m saying this as an engineer/scientist, here. I’m grateful, I really am, but just the fact that people like you are reading this and deriving some happiness out of it is more than enough contribution for me.

Wow, leave for a little while, and you already have two chapters out? That’s incredible. Hope you enjoyed that break.

That whole ponytail dilema was undeniably the cutest thing ever to come out of this franchise. I am so glad this exists.

(BECAUSE THAT NAGATO PONYTAIL GOOD LORD)

    • Calculuswhiz

I had a nice break, thanks! Make that three chapters, now 😛

The Haruhi franchise is one of my favorites to follow. Affectionately, I refer to this as “Yukiverse” and the main series as “Haruhiverse” after the pairings, haha… Seriously, though. Nagato ponytail? I’d so like to see that again soon…

  6. Alas

    Thank you. I love Nagato.

  7. Gabrinius

thank ya again for the great job.
