The Vanishing of Nagato Yuki-chan: chs.48 and 49
Jul 10Surprise! Another double update! The chapters were short, so I finished them very quickly. And with this, Volume 6 is complete. As always, thanks for reading!
I think you’ll really like the next volume. It’s super adorable.

Happy 7/7 from YukiBrigade!
Jul 07It’s July 7th, and you know what that means! It’s Tanabata: a time to send messages into space light years away because gods are aliens that can grant wishes instantly? I’m also using it as an excuse to make a status update post.
It looks like things are going well for us. I’ve always enjoyed this manga series and Haruhi in general, and it’s a privilege to be able to work on it. In about a month and a half, though, I will disappear for 5 weeks to receive training for my occupation. After I begin work, who knows how much time I can spend with this. Just a heads up. I will try to post an update as soon as I’m done with training, though. We appreciate your understanding.
As always, thanks for reading.
The Vanishing of Nagato Yuki-chan: chs.46 and 47 (Double Update!?)
Jul 07Double update! I decided to do these two together because I thought it would flow better that way. Double updates are not the norm, so don’t expect this in the future. I guess I just like this manga.
Hope you like these chapters!

Well, this is my first time working solo in a long while. In a way, it’s kinda nice. This took a lot less work than I expected, so here’s the new chapter! As always, thanks for reading. I’m thinking of releasing the next two together, by the way. Less cliff-hangery that way. We’ll see.

P.S. I kind of feel sad for Sasaki. I think she likes Kyon in both universes, but more so in this one. (Not really a spoiler. We all know what he’s gonna choose.) Then again, I can’t root against Nagato or Haruhi, either, so I guess I can’t complain. Anyway, I’m not shipping anyone, so don’t get any ideas. After all, it’s pretty apparent that Tanigawa wants Kyon and Haruhi together in the main series. Do I even need to say where this one is going?

Ok, just so you guys know, this is the last chapter in my backlog. This means that there may not be a new chapter for a long while. Thanks so much for still being interested after all this time! You guys rock!

Yes, it’s another update. Expect one more soon. However, I can make no guarantee past that.
By the way, how’s the anime? I’ve only watched a couple of episodes and was waiting for the end of the season.

Hey, it’s a chapter! What are the odds?
Anyway, guys, sorry for the long wait! School and stuff first, you know. Also new actual job.
Hope things look good.

Project Status
Apr 06(Well, I guess I’d better say something. I am at least partially in charge of the project now.)
Dear readers,
On behalf of the manga team, I’d like to apologize for the long hiatus. Things got busy for some of us, which kind of put a bottleneck on the process. I’ve been put in charge of the project recently, so *cross fingers* we’re going to actually get things going again. (If the “CO” is Kyonko, I’m the “XO,” is how I understand it.) I’m not the fastest at this kind of thing by any means, but I hope to at pick up where we left off.
As of right now, I’m getting things organized (I recently found some decent scans from Japanese volume releases). I’m also taking a killer algorithms class with like 10+ hours of homework a week and some other senior level engineering classes, so I can’t give you any definite timetables. However, I thought I’d just reassure you that, yes, this project, the staff, and the site are indeed still alive.
In closing, thanks for all the support! I hope to see you again in the future.
Very respectfully,
Zach
P.S. Oh, right. Me. I also go by calculuswhiz. Maybe 7.62mm NATO, but I hardly ever use that nowadays. I have experience with cleaning, translation, and typesetting, though I may or may not handle all three of those here.
